THE ARTIST

Leon is a graduate of the Art Institute of Toronto where he acquired a diploma in both 2D hand-drawn and 3D art & animation. Following that he attended the Ontario College of Art & Design (now known as OCADU) for his bachelor of Fine Arts. Inspired to move back to Newfoundland, over the years he has created numerous of colorful and imaginative illustrations based in Newfoundland which you may see at the Heritage Shops.

His art is largely influenced by the works of Walt Disney and Hayao Miyazaki, having developed his own sense of unique art style and storytelling with his illustrations. He is currently developing his first graphic novel; This Lovely Rock by the Sea, an illustrated anthology with the underlying theme of love that will take readers through different parts of St. John's in 7 short stories within our beautiful city.

After filling in your address, shipping options will be available as well as local pickup at our printing partner, Newfoundland Canvas at 56 Aberdeen Ave, St. John's, Newfoundland.

Orders are processed and handcrafted in 5-10 business days. Once the order is complete you will receive the shipping tracking information or notification for pickup by email.
